The software was written by a team of bankers, accountants, consultants and successful business owners to assist entrepreneurs to get a jump start with their business.

The program was initially researched as business owners found the financial section to be a major hurdle. People could customize the financials but found it difficult to create and balance all the statements. This hurdle is now eliminated as you only require 4 inputs (sales year 1/2, industry type and initial cash) to see solid financial projections. It is alot easier to make a few minor changes than trying to create everything from scratch.

Since 1999, our team has researched methodologies and industry comparisons for new businesses. From this in depth research we found a method to create financial projections that reflect your industry type and sales levels.

Our proprietary calculations enabled our first tests to overcome challenges related to statement weighting, and proper representation of individual line items such as cash and equity. Once the basic premise worked it was a matter of due diligence in testing, adjusting required input fields and verifying results with leading business bankers, mathematicians and accounting professionals.

Through the development phase we were able to reduce the number of required field to a mere four key factors. This means with only a few customer specific inputs the software will generate an income statement and balance sheet that reflects the average company company in an industry adjusted to meet the unique requirements of new businesses.

Once we mastered the methodology for a balance sheet and income statement cross functional formulas and variables ensure that all additional statements (such as statement of cash flow and monthly budgets) balance even after customization.

Yes. There are two ways to customize your financial statements.

First, at the start you are asked to input known factors such as start up expenses, purchases and ongoing costs. Any line items you leave set to 'default' settings will automatically use our proprietary industry calculations.

Secondly, values can be customized on your financial statements to ensure they meet your individual needs.

Your changes will reflect automatically in complimentary fields meaning you do not have to be an expert. For example, if you increase spending on salaries in the second year - cash, net profit and other fields will adjust accordingly.
